Hey all! This week I decided to look into some vintage branding styles of illustration that highlight decorative typography. In my video below I talk about some influences for the piece that I end up illustrating. Forgive my awkwardness this week. I’m new to filming in this style and I should get better with time.

You are an amazing artist! Wow! I also really like the reference images you showed. You seem to really know your stuff. Don’t worry about being shy filming. It can get the best of all of us sometimes. Be confident in the material you are presenting because you are an absolute pro and you are capable of sharing your knowledge in meaningful and impactful ways 🙂

You’ve got an amazing eye for design! I like that you showed the design mocked up on a shirt – I would definitely wear something like that. The background information you gave regarding your inspiration really gave me a good idea of your style, and I could see you pivoting into tattooing with the clean lines you’ve got.

This is such an awesome video! I really enjoyed learning about your creative process and how you come up with ideas on what you make. I have never worked with digital art, so I think this is a really neat tool to come up with images to print. I also love how accessible digital art is and how clean your image turns out. Excited to see more 🙂
