Hey all! Thanks for checking out this week’s illustration style. Today we are looking at hatching, which is a method of shading. This style of shading has been around for a while, and in the 1400s we saw hatching emerge as a popular method of shading. Michelangelo was one of the many artists who employed this technique, and well might I add. As for the image, I used a similar flower to last week to compare the different styles and their possible effects, so take a look at pointillism from last week if you haven’t.
As usual, let me know what you might want to see me draw next.
Check out Chad Koeplinger, a source of a lot of my inspiration!

MY GOODNESS! Brother I love the edit! honestly I’m sure this took a lot of effort and time editing to make so clean but DAMN, it’s a very entertaining watch. I still love what you teach and want to mention my admiration for the content you actually cover, but I was more captivated by the actual editing of the video, definitely made it an eye catcher.
