Pointillism & Stippling

This week we have some real paper and real pen. Pointillism and stippling have been around for some time now. It is commonly attributed that the style was pioneered in the mid-1880s, which I will talk about more in my video. Pointillism is making an image or gradient using little dot marks on a page or canvas. It’s a simple concept, however, it can achieve some incredible effects. This video is short and sweet with a pretty basic design as far as pointillism goes; the real folks spend days working on pieces (if not longer).

As usual, let me know what you’d like to see next!
